Job Description
Supervises juvenile probationers and counsels them and their parents, makes regular visits to offices, homes, and schools to review youth’s progress; sets up psychological assessments for probationers, and reviews results; apprehends probation violators; transports juveniles to placement facilities, appointments, and other places as needed; makes referrals to outside agencies when appropriate; documents all contacts and prepares various required reports and case plans on a timely basis; prepares and presents at case staffing meetings and compiles other reports/documentations to meet TJJD standards.
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree, valid Texas Driver’s License, be very organized, be a team player, and have excellent communication skills, and subject to being placed on an “on call schedule”; some travel required. Must reside in Fisher, Mitchell, or Nolan County, Texas.
