Program Description
During the past decade the concept of Emotional Intelligence(EI) has received much attention in the training and development of leadership (Sadri, 2012). This may, in part, be attributed to the fact that previously acquired knowledge and skills may no longer be adequate in today’s complex organizational environments (Gondal & Husain, 2013). When considering effective leadership, advocates of EI have argued that it is more significant than intellectual intelligence. In addition to fostering effective leadership, EI may contribute to an organization's performance and communication holistically due to its personal aspect. To remain competitive, organizations should strive to develop employee communication because employees are an integral part of an organization’s mode of communication. Service quality is highly dependent on the interaction between employees and those being served. This training will explore the various dimension, benefits and affects of EI on organizations today.
